Its great to hear news that these guys will be joining forces once more to appear in Martin McDonagh’s “Three Billboards Outside Of Ebbing, Missouri”. Little is known about the story but it’s said to follow a 50-year-old woman whose daughter is murdered and ends up taking on the local police who she feels are more interested in torturing black people than catching the murderer. Filming is set to begin next month. Film4 and Fox Searchlight are co-financing the film.
The last time these 3 (Rockwell, Harrelson, McDonagh) were together was Seven Psychopaths, which was insanely brilliant and at times, just insane. It’ll be interesting to see if McDonagh needs/wants to cast any more of his Psychopath gang in the coming weeks, I for one hope so.
Anything that Rockwell is in, I want to see and this is no different. Harrelson is a legend in his own right. But before they team up once more, you can see Woody in “Triple 9” and the summer release of “Now You See Me 2”. Rockwell is slightly less in the limelight as he has done some work in an indie comedy called “Mr Right” and will be providing his voice for a new animation called “The Adventures of Drunky”, make of that what you will.
